Grim Fandango Demo Walkthrough

*** If you want to figure out the demo for yourself and not have the 
game spoiled do not read any further. This is the simple walk 
through of the game, so please explore further into the demo for 
some more fun. ***



When you start the game you find yourself in an office. Talk to the 
dead man dressed in the army outfit until you figure out that you 
have to get the pigeon eggs by pressing (ENTER). Go to the elevator 
and leave the office. The doors will close automatically and you 
will be off.
You will find yourself in an ally when you get off the elevator. 
Head to the main street and you will see a big parade in the 
background. Walk to the booth where the clown is. You'll then see a 
close up of two booths. Talk to the clown by pressing (ENTER) until 
you can get the ballon cat. Put the ballon cat in your coat by 
pressing (P). Go to the booth with the bread and hit (ENTER) and 
pick up the bread. Put it in your coat by pressing (P).
Go back to where you came from in the ally, and go deeper in the 
ally until you see a rope. Climb the rope by pressing (ENTER). You 
will find yourself high on a ledge. Walk on the ledge until you 
reach a window with no curtains. Open the window and enter it by 
pressing (ENTER). When you are inside, you'll see a desk with a 
drawer. Open the desk drawer by pressing (ENTER) and get the object 
inside by pressing (ENTER). Put the object in your coat by pressing 
(P). Exit the room. 
Go back to where you first climbed up the ledge. Press (I) so your 
inventory comes up. Use the (RIGHT OR LEFT ARROW KEYS) until the 
green hook appears. Press (ESCAPE) and the hook will be in your 
hand. Go to where the excess amount of rope is tied around the ledge 
and press (ENTER). You will pick up the excess amount and attach the 
green hook to it. Pick up the rope and throw it to the ladder by 
pressing (ENTER). You will climb to a new ledge which leads to 
another ladder. Press (ENTER) and use the (UP ARROW) to climb the 
ladder.
You now find yourself on top of the building. Walk over to the flock 
of pigeons where the eggs are. You'll see a dish mounted to the 
roof. Walk over to the dish. Press the (I) key to see your inventory 
and use the (RIGHT OR LEFT ARROW KEYS) to select the ballon cat. Hit 
(ENTER) and put the ballon in the dish. Press (I) again and use the 
(RIGHT OR LEFT ARROW KEYS) to select the bread. Press (ENTER) and 
the bread will turn to crumbs and fall into the dish. The birds fly 
over to the bread and eventually pop the ballon, get scared, and fly 
away. Go and steal the eggs by pressing (ENTER).
Climb back down to where the elevator is. Press (ENTER) and the 
elevator will come up. Enter the elevator. The elevator takes you 
back to the room where you started. Give the eggs to the dead man in 
the army clothing. Now the demo is over. Explore more to find new 
things not metioned in the walk through.
